For this design competition, you must design a link back banner or button for IceCaves. The best ones (or all of them) will be added to our Link Back page with proper credit. The criteria for this comp is that you design a banner for IC that promotes IC. Animations are accepted, and the banner doesn't have to be generic for all of IC, either. You are free to submit a banner that promotes any specific area of IceCaves or all of it. For example, the banners in our link back page promote IC in general, but for this competition you are free to submit banners that advertise specifically a single section f the site such as our stock photos, our Photoshop Tutorials, our scripts, etc. Be creative! Any dimensions are allowed, but keep the banners larger than 100x100 px. As always, the winner of this competition will win two weeks of free advertisement on our sidebar. Submission deadlines are one week from now: March 22nd.

Also, our design competitions now have different schedules! Instead of starting and ending on Saturdays (PST), they now start and end on Mondays (PST). I've decided this would be better since most of our updates are squeezed into the weekends.

The votes have been set and tallied, and here are the winners! Each winner gets a trophy in their profile and a plug for their website in this news update. Well, this certainly hasn't happened before. xD Jenny and Frisby--the only entrants--have tied for first place! Voting has begun for our color-schemed website layouts design comp. We received two entries for this competition from Jenny and Frisby. The theme of the competition was to create and submit a website layout that is uses one of our Color Schemes. Voting will last one week until Saturday, March 6, noon PST. For this design competition, you must create and submit a website layout for our website layouts section. The theme for this competition is that each website layout must utilize one of our Color Schemes. This is a more CSS-oriented competition. You must choose one of our Color Schemes and find the best arrangement of colors and images that will make the website layout amazing. Click here to submit your entries!
